What is Religion

What Is Religion. This question comes in the mind of every person. Today we see on the name of religion the countries, people, communities are being divided.
 
In the name of religion the people are ready to switch to violence, kill  people who believes in other religion/faith etc... Now the question arises why in the name of religion there is bloodshed, hatred towards people of others religion/faith.
 
Before going further it is important to give the answer to what actually   religion is. There are hundreds of answers to this one word "Religion" but the simple answer to this is to have the strong belief in one  supreme thee who is supernatural with supreme powers who controls the destiny of every living being who loves each of his creation.  All religions are just paths/means to reach/attain the supreme thee and be one with him.
 
All the religions have the same message that is to spread the message of  love & peace. To love every living being . No religion tells us to hate others, kill others as they belong to other religion/faith. No religion is permitting the same if you consult any religious books you will find the same answer that is to love, respect each other irrespective of  religion, caste or creed. One proverb goes here that god created man and man created religion which means in the eyes of god all living beings are equal it is we who have divided the world in the name of religion.

Now question arises if all religions gives the common message of love & peace then why the hate among people who believes in different religions/faiths. What is the root cause for the same.
 
I have tried to analyze the same and come with some facts which are given below.
 
  1. Religion has been misused\put wrongly by different people\rulers for their personal interests. This process has started thousands of years ago and thus created the deep impact on the mindset of the people and the same is being inherited by the parents to his children and the process is continuing.

2. People start believing in those things which their parents\ their seniors tells them. They consider those things right and start following those things whether they are wrong or right.

If you take the data you will see about seventy percent of unrest throughout the world is due to the religion conflict. This is merely due to not knowing the true meaning of the word religion. This word has been used as a tool by some vested interested people for their personal gain only as they know that it is easy to play with the emotion of the people on this delicate topic in order to take gain from this for their personal interest only. They have nothing to do with the common people as no common man wants blood shed. All people want to live in peace.

If common man understand the true meaning of religion we will see that  from that day there will be no blood shed no hatred but just the atmosphere of peace & love everywhere but the need is to educate the people of the same so that each & every people across the globe starts thinking for the well being of others so that this world turns to be happier place to live in.
