Pt.SWAMI LACH KAK

Brief-Biography

Among the people who contributed with their literary work in promoting the tradition of writing Vakhs,which hold immense popularity due to Mata LalDed.Pt.Lach Kak holds the prominence for his valuable contribution in later period.Pt.Lach kak,himself a sadak and traditional Shavitee lived the life of Guru & shasya tradition with his Guru Pt.Zar Kak.

Though the Swami Lach kakji's Vakhs are few in numbers but the depth and exeperience of Self-realization in Vakhs speaks about it itself.He was able to hold his credit which very few people have managed to hold. All of Swami Lach Kak's Vakhs,have not been published till date,because only two of his collection of Vakhs were available and then most of his manuscripts could not be located.

Swami Lach Kak was the resident of "Sathu BarbarShah" and he left for the heavenly abode on the eve of Maha Shivratri in 1871.Among his prominent disciples were Pt.Ramanand Ji,who himself wrote many bhajans,which could not be located.

It is to be noted that most of the mystic poets,who kept the tradition of writing Vakhs where the followers of Shavasim. Among them are Marz Kak, Boan Kak, and Lach Kak.These people brought many changes in Vakh in its shape and formation of words,which one can not forget.
